3D Laser Scanning

With 3D Laser Scanning technology, you can easily capture existing condition data for accurate, adaptive reuse and renovation construction planning and design.

DPI-8 Handheld Scanner

The DPI-8 Handheld Scanner offers a self-contained, lightweight design with a high-resolution camera sensor and a powerful Android tablet. One-hand operation allows improved accessibility, speed, and safety while acquiring data on site. Points collected with the DPI-8 can be merged with other scanner data for evaluation and assessment. Any stakeholder on a construction site looking for 3D image capture, the ability to append real-time data, and quality feedback in a portable, compatible format will appreciate the features of the DPI-8 Handheld Scanner.

X7 Laser Scanner

The Trimble X7 is a high-speed 3D laser scanning system allowing for scan and BIM data to be referenced, registered and refined in the field. The X7 increases productivity with fast, high quality scanning combined with Trimble Field Link construction software. The new Trimble X-Drive deflection system enables automatic calibration to ensure accuracy on every scan with no downtime for calibration service. Includes high sensitivity time-of-flight EDM to effectively capture dark and reflective surface and fast image capture for full panaroamas and scan colorization with Trimble VISION. It also has an integrated laser pointer to support in-field deliverables and workflows. All complete with the Trimble Field Link Scan Module, construction specific software to easily operate the Trimble X7 and reference scan projects with BIM data.

TX6 Laser Scanner

The TX6 Laser Scanner is a cost effective 3D scanning solution that is based on the same Lightening time-of-flight technology as the TX8. It records 500,000 points per second and has a range of 260 feet or optionally 390 feet. It captures precise data over its full measurement range of 360° and 317°. The eye-safe, Class 1, non-visible laser makes it safe to use even in busy, public places. Its high scan speed and accuracy make the TX6 the most productive and rugged scanner in its class. Data from the TX6 loads directly into Trimble RealWorks software for automatic scan colorization and registration. Produce powerful deliverables or export data to CAD software.

TX8 Laser Scanner

The TX8 Laser Scanner produces the high quality results needed for comprehensive worksite data collection. The TX8 allows contractors to gather data more quickly from each setup while the long-range capability reduces the number of setups needed to get the job done.  Complete with Trimble’s patented Lightning time-of-flight technology, the TX8 can measure 1,000,000 points per second while capturing precise data over its full measurement range of 360° and 317°. It has a range of 390 feet or optionally 1100 feet. Its eye-safe, Class 1, non-visible laser making it safe to use even in busy, public places. A color touchscreen display and one-button scanning make data capture easy and efficient.

Trimble RealWorks

Trimble RealWorks makes it easy to visualize and extract compelling presentations from 3D data. RealWorks will integrate survey data with 3D point data to extract measurements, generate deliverables, and feed 3D CAD software. It is specifically designed to analyze and process point clouds. The software provides a complete solution to efficiently register, analyze, model, and produce easily understood and usable output using data from virtually any source.

Trimble EdgeWise

Trimble EdgeWise uses automated feature extraction and modeling to significantly reduce the time required for professionals to generate CAD models of pipes, conduit, structural steel, and gridded concrete from data captured with 3D laser scanners. When combined with 3D scanners and RealWorks software, EdgeWise provides efficient end-to-end workflows that result in accurate, actionable models and enables model deliverables to be imported as native objects with popular Building Information Modeling (BIM) applications.
