PRESS RELEASE

VER-TEC HD3D PRODUCT LAUNCH

29th January
2007

Ver-tec HD3D™ is a true colour optical device designed for individual coding with 3D image switch customisation capabilities.

The need for more overt, easily identifiable holograms that can be serialised or individualised at the pre personalisation stage of manufacturing  has led to the development of the Ver-tec HD3D™ product. Ver-tec HD3D™ removes the rainbow effect familiar with embossed holograms, creating images which maintain their colour no matter the angle of view. This provides a security device that is easily distinguishable and recognised in comparison with conventional holograms and enables document issuing authorities and security printers the option of linking personalisation data to a true colour 3D image switch laminate unique to each and every document through its optically generated serialisation number.

Additionally, the true colour images in Ver-tec HD3D™ can act as a powerful marketing tool, maintaining an organisation's corporate or national identity. Various optical security devices such as multiple vertical and horizontal image switches, microtext and ultra violet images can be incorporated.

HD3D™ is for application in the document security, brand protection and pharmaceutical markets.

For more information, visit the Ver-tec HD3D™ product page.
